At McKay Diamonds, we're a small, family-run jewelry studio passionate about creating meaningful, high-quality pieces by hand. Every item we make is crafted with care, love, and attention to detail. Below are a few important things to know as you browse and shop with us:
Each piece of our fine jewelry is made by hand using high-quality metals and genuine stones. Because of this, you may notice slight variations in size, shape, or finish — that's part of what makes your piece one-of-a-kind.
We do our best to represent our jewelry accurately in photos, but please keep in mind that colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and lighting.
We absolutely love bringing your ideas to life. Custom pieces are made just for you, based on your design choices, and are therefore non-refundable and final sale once production has begun.
We work closely with you throughout the design process to make sure you're happy with the direction — this includes sharing sketches or CAD designs before we begin creating. Please review everything carefully before giving us the go-ahead, as small design differences can happen in the handmade process.
Fine jewelry is delicate by nature and needs a little TLC to stay looking its best. We kindly ask that you:
Take jewelry off before swimming, showering, or working with your hands
Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, or cleaning products
Store pieces safely when not in use — ideally in a soft pouch or lined box
We aren’t able to replace or refund items damaged due to improper care, but we’re always happy to help guide you through repairs or maintenance if needed.
We use metals like gold, platinum, and sterling silver in our work, and try to avoid materials that commonly cause skin sensitivities. That said, we recommend checking the materials listed in each product description if you have allergies, and feel free to message us with any questions before you buy — we're happy to help.
We stand by the quality of our work. If something doesn't seem right, let us know within 30 days receiving your piece and we’ll take care of it. If a piece is damaged from wear and tear, accidents, or needs resizing later down the road, we’re happy to discuss repair options and any related fees.
